When the Chefs' Club Foundation was founded ?
The Foundation was founded in 2008 by a pre-existing Chefs' Club. The foundation Board cosist of three members, wheras the Foundation council cosists of fifteen Chefs - founders of teh KSK.
What is the main aim of the Chefs' Club Foundation ?
The basic objectives of KSK Foundation are:
- cultivating national and regional culinary traditions,
- complementing the knowledge and skills of members of the Chefs' Club,
- organization and assistance on trainings, competitions and exhibitions,
- ensuring appropriate conditions for professional cooks and confectioners, both in their workplace as well as during competitions,
- Integrating the whole community of chefs and cooperators,
- Improving the conditions for Polish gastronomy,
- Creating good culinary standards outside the country,
- Developing native catering work for organizations whose statutory aims are broadly conceived activity designed to strengthen the Polish culinary tradition,
- Supporting and cooperating in partnership with all the associations that focus in their ranks, and pastry chefs and cooks and confectioners from across the Polish,
- Promoting and supporting Polish gastronomy in Poland and abroad,
- Dissemination of knowledge about art of cooking,
- Protecting the interests of professional and economic environments for gastronomy,
- Promoting professional publications.
What's the difference of Chefs' Club Foundation from other associations, the foodservice industry ?
Chefs' Club Foundation brings together the best chefs in Poland, which are also often the activists of other organizations. Chefs' Club Foundation promotes the most talented chefs in Poland, following the rules:
1. Members of Chefs' Club Foundation and people aspiring to join the club, are the range of their behavior in a manner worthy club and immaculate.
2. Education of young chefs is our top priority: the higher level of professionalism of the young generation of chefs will rise the level of polish gastronomy.
3. We cook in different styles, but the Polish cuisine is our basic and starting point. We know it very well so that we use it as a source of inspiration.
4. KSK Foundation members support each other in actions and activities undertaken collectively and individually. The strength of the Club is the strength of its members, therefore, mutual support and promotion is an activity for the good of Foundation and the entire food service environment in Poland.
How to become a member of Chefs' Club Foundation ?
To become a member of Chefs' Club Foundation, it necessary to have at least five years of experience as a profession chef calculating, the awards in culinary competitions in Poland and abroad, as well as ambitious, creative and versatile approach to the profession of chef. Is also required a written recommendation with the reasons for nomination, reported by at least three members of the Council of Foundation.
In 2010, the Board of the Foundation does not provide an extension of Chefs' Club.
How can I support the Foundation's activities ?
KSK Foundation is open to cooperation with companies operating in HoReCa sector. Agreements with sponsors are concluded in each case individually, and the major idea is a clear contract. Insted of their cooperation, the sponsor of the Foundation receives right to use the title Sponsor - Partner KSK, and - within that agreement - the right to use the logo and name of the Foundation.
